5 great exercises to prep you for the slopes

16 days until the lifts open. Not that we’re counting. It’s always a good idea to put a bit of preparation in before you head out to the Alps. You will ski or snowboard much better, adding hugely to your enjoyment of your holiday. It will also significantly decrease the chance of injury.

The guys and girls at Mountain Rehab in Morzine have come up with a series of simple exercises to get your core stability muscles working. They are really simple and don’t require any specialist equipment. Mountain Rehab suggest doing these exercises 3 to 4 times a week for up to 6 weeks. They don’t take long at all and will set you up nicely for your time out here with us in the Alps!
