This last weekend, 2 July, the small lake/pool next to Lake Montriond has reopened. This area is perfect for young children over the summer as it will be monitored by lifeguards from 11am to 6pm every day. The entire area has been re-lined and the surrounding grassy area re-seeded ready for languid days lazing in the stunning scenery. Temperatures have already been up to 35 degrees in the valley so a refreshing dip on regular intervals is the perfect way to spend a summer scorcher. Afterwards, why not come and listen to live music at the Hôtel du Lac’s terrace and as afternoon gently glides into evening, indulge in flavourful cocktails at the chic bar. Don’t forget that every Sunday in summer we host a barbecue at Hôtel du Lac too.
