Summer season is just around the corner and we are counting down the days until RAMEN restaurant opens it’s doors again for it’s first summer. Brand new last winter from the team at Hideout Hostel, we LOVE this restaurant. We are bigs fans of all things cheesy alpine (think tartiflette + raclette) but RAMEN is a real breath of fresh air to the food in Morzine. The restaurant is tucked up the south facing side of Morzine just passed the Mayor’s Office.
It specialises in Tonkotsu (pork), Shoyu (chicken) and Miso (veggie) ramen and the portions are enormous. The flavour of the broth is super intense and we still can’t work out how they slow poach the eggs to perfection in the middle of the ramen. The restaurant also does (big) bar snacks with the standout dishes being the Philly Cheesesteak Bun and the Bang Bang Broccoli. Despite only being open 5 months RAMEN was voted Best Food in Morzine at the annual Source Magazine Awards.
We love what you guys do and we can’t wait for you to open your doors in summer!
